Golf
On February 25, Boys' and Girls' Varsity Golf played in the Jesuit Golf Invitational Tournament at Brookhaven Country Club, along with two JV boys. Blake Eisenberg ’19 had an exciting round, shooting an 83 with holing an Eagle on #1 of the Masters Course. The team of Eisenberg, Mason Wilderom ‘20, Keller Welton ‘20, Cole Barclay ‘22, and Robert Rogers ’22 had a little bit of a tough day, but they are just starting to get warmed up for the season. The JV Boys' Medalist of Camden Clure ‘21 and Richmond Binkley ’21 also had a challenging day on the Champs Course, but they are looking forward to the next tournament after Spring Break. Panther Girls' Varsity team of Koko Olson ‘20, Brooke Burnecke ‘20, Elizabeth Walsh ‘20, and Michelle Mijares ’22 played on the Presidents Course, and struggled with the cold temperatures. However, Mijares shot a 97 for her first high school tournament. Great job Panthers, and keep swinging!

Lacrosse Boys
Parish Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse played at home for the first time last Saturday, March 2 against Fort Worth Lacrosse (divisional opponent and last year’s district play-off qualifier). The Panthers were down just 3-1 at halftime, but penalties and mistakes throughout the game caught up and the team ended up losing 10-3. Panthers are back at home on March 23 against Fort Worth Country Day.
