Arts Showcase may feel like it is far away, but it opens April 25, 2018. Planning started last week with a kick off meeting with parent volunteers and arts faculty. Parish parent, Jody Swartzwelder, will be heading up the showcase this year and we are THRILLED she’s filling that roll! A big thank you to the Welton’s for hosting the kick-off meeting in their home.
The Upper School Musical HAIRSPRAY opened and wrapped at the beginning of February. The show sold out in minutes and was great success. It was also a good example of collaboration between students and faculty. Jessica Barnett, Jeff Crouse, Dru Stine and Kevin Ash put in many hours on the music and dance numbers! Thank you to all of them for their very hard work and dedication to this program! Students from across the Middle and Upper School also put in hard work and long hours into the production. Shout out to faculty member, Tyneeta Canonge, for being a part of this show as well! (Hairspray Photo Gallery by Wiley Williams)
The Upper School AP photo students participated in the Black and White Photo Competition at Fort Worth Country Day and recently they attended a ceremony to find out the results! Here is the info about the competition as well as results from Shastan Kuschke, Upper School Photography:
