On the Midway campus, the Class of 2018 checked out the senior lounge while other students caught up with old and new friends, and located their classrooms and lockers. At Hillcrest, students met their new teachers, classmates and attended chapel. For parents and students, the 2017-18 school year marked the return of familiar routines or the beginning of new traditions.
Parish Episcopal buzzed with activity over the summer break. Faculty members worked on Reimagine School while staff made improvements around the Midway campus, installing new carpet, classroom seating and equipment and putting the finishing touches on the new Gene E. Phillips Activity Center! (Join us for the dedication ceremony on Friday, September 8 at 5:30 p.m. on the Midway campus, followed by our first regular season home football game.)
The Hillcrest campus made some exciting new additions to the Beasley STEM Center. The garden received new features including a “monarch way” butterfly station and hydroponic shed for growing vegetables.
Many students enjoyed ParishEXTEND classes during summer break and others returned to campus early for music, dance and athletics. The fun is only getting started! Parent nights, tours, alumni events, sports and arts dominate the calendar in September. Don’t miss out. (Check out the Parish Academic Calendar)
