It’s Bold. It’s Blue. It’s Cool.
In fact, it’s 35 degrees cooler than your typical Texas football field in the heat of summer.
The turf makeover at Parish Episcopal School is now complete, and coaches and players are fired up for an incredible inaugural season on the bold new field. While Boise State holds a trademark on the blue field, Parish Episcopal was approved by the University to license and have rights to use the blue turf in Gloria Snyder stadium at its Midway Road campus.
The field not only looks spectacular, it preforms just as well. The state-of-the-art turf was developed by FieldTurf, and includes a special cork top dressing that replaces the standard top layer of crumb rubber usually used on turf fields. This design is proven to offer better performance and safety for players, is shock absorbing and attracts far less heat than other mainstream turf alternatives.
Football fans all over Dallas are commenting on the view from the air – the bright blue field is easily visible on several flights out of Dallas/FortWorth. Click here to view the aerial video from NBC5 and a feature story by ted madden on WFAA-TV.
