Parish Sophomore Jeremy Winston named 2014 National High School Lacrosse All-American

Jeremy Winston, rising 10th grader at Parish Episcopal School has been named as a 2014 Brine National High School Lacrosse All-American. Jeremy was selected to represent Texas at the 2014 Brine National Lacrosse Classic held in Boyds, Maryland this summer.
The Brine National Lacrosse Classic brings the top high school lacrosse players in the country to one venue, where regional teams compete to become the 2014 National Champion.
“We’re excited for Jeremy and all that he’s accomplished on the Lacrosse field this summer,” said Brett McCabe, Parish Episcopal School Athletic Director. “His enthusiasm for and dedication to the sport fuels the possibilities for both him and his teammates. Parish is proud to call him a Panther, both on and off the field.”
Jeremy competed in three tournaments throughout Maryland and Delaware. His summer lacrosse team was undefeated in one tournament and he was the only player from his team selected to participate on the All-Star team at the tournament in Delaware. He received an All-Star medal at the Brine Tournament. Following his performance in these tournaments, he received letters of interest and invitations to attend recruiting camps from several colleges including The University of Michigan, The University of Maryland, The University of Tampa, Rutger's University, The University of Richmond and Randolph-Macon College.
