Steps for PreK 3 and PreK4

To start an application, click here to create an account with Ravenna and complete the Student Profile. Find Parish Episcopal School in the school directory and click "Apply" to start the application process.

Once your account has been set up in Ravenna for your student, the following steps remain for a PK3 or PK4 application:

  • Complete the Application Preliminary Form and pay the Application Fee
     
  • After Parish receives your student’s application, you will receive an email with an assigned Observation Visit day and time.
     
  • The Parent Questionnaire form must be completed by one parent.
     
  • Print and complete the Records Release Form and submit it to your student’s current school in December for the entire fall semester grades. If your student is not in school or his/her school does not issue Progress Reports, please contact us and we can waive the requirement. For PK3 and PK4 applications, conference reports/notes can also be submitted as Progress Reports.
     
  • After November 1, submit the Teacher Evaluation Form through Ravenna. Click on the link and enter your student’s name and current teacher’s email. Please notify the teacher to expect an email from Ravenna; it could go to their junk folder.

Steps for Kindergarten

To start an application, click here to create an account with Ravenna and complete the Student Profile. Find Parish Episcopal School in the school directory and click "Apply" to start the application process.

Once your account has been set up in Ravenna for your student, the following steps remain for a Kindergarten application:

  • Complete the Application Preliminary Form and pay the Application Fee
     
  • After Parish receives your student’s application, you will receive an email with an assigned Observation Visit day and time.
     
  • Register for CATS Testing with the Collaborative Academic Testing Service Office through their website, www.catstexas.com. If the CATS Testing fee is a hardship, to be considered for a reduced test fee, please contact CATS directly. They will require proof that you have applied to Parish, so please be prepared to send them the confirmation email you received when you applied.
     
  • The Parent Questionnaire form must be completed by one parent.
     
  • Print and complete the Records Release Form and submit it to your student’s current school in December for the entire fall semester grades. If your student is not in school or his/her school does not issue Progress Reports, please contact us and we can waive the requirement. For PK3 and PK4 applications, conference reports/notes can also be submitted as Progress Reports.

Once your account has been set up in Ravenna for your student, the following steps remain for a 1st grade application.  If applying to Primer, you will complete the 1st grade application process.

  • Complete the Application Preliminary Form and pay the Application Fee
     
  • Register for CATS Testing through the Collaborative Academic Testing Service Office through their website, www.catstexas.com. If the CATS Testing fee is a hardship, to be considered for a reduced test fee, please contact CATS directly. They will require proof that you have applied to Parish, so please be prepared to send them the confirmation email you received when you applied.
     
  • Through the Ravenna form, submit the Test Registration Form for AABL Testing. If testing at Parish, we will send you a specific code to complete online registration through the AABL website.
     
  • Register for a Student Visit, which is an opportunity for your student to visit and learn more about Parish for a morning. Your student will visit a kindergarten classroom so that he/she is with his/her peers.
     
  • The Parent Questionnaire form must be completed by one parent.
     
  • Print and complete the Records Release Form and submit it to your student’s current school in December for the entire fall semester grades. 
     
  • After November 1, submit the Teacher Evaluation Form through Ravenna. Click on the link and enter your student’s name and current teacher’s email.  Please notify the teacher to expect an email from Ravenna, it could go to their junk folder.

  • Register for Student Visit which is an opportunity for your student to visit and learn more about Parish for a morning. Your student will visit a 1st grade classroom so that he/she is with his/her peers.
     
  • The Parent Questionnaire form must be completed by one parent.
     
  • Print and complete the Records Release Form and submit it to your student’s current school in December for the entire fall semester grades.

  • Register for Student Visit which is an opportunity for your student to visit and learn more about Parish for a morning. Your student will visit a 2nd grade classroom at our Hillcrest Campus so that he/she is with his/her peers. Post-decision visits to the Midway Campus can be arranged.
     
  • The Parent Questionnaire form must be completed by one parent.
     
  • Print and complete the Records Release Form and submit it to your student’s current school in December for the entire fall semester grades.
     
  • After November 1, submit the Teacher Evaluation Form through Ravenna. Click on the link and enter your student’s name and current teacher’s email.  Please notify the teacher to expect an email from Ravenna, it could go to their junk folder.

Steps for 4th Grade

To start an application, click here to create an account with Ravenna and complete the Student Profile. Find Parish Episcopal School in the school directory and click "Apply" to start the application process.

Once your account has been set up in Ravenna for your student, the following steps remain for a 4th grade application:

  • Complete the Application Preliminary Form and pay the Application Fee
     
  • Through the Ravenna form, submit the Test Registration Form for ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) Testing. If testing at Parish, we will send you a specific code to complete online registration through the ISEE website.
     
  • Register for Student Visit which is an opportunity for your student to visit and learn more about Parish for a morning. Your student will visit a 3rd grade classroom so that he/she is with his/her peers. We encourage you to complete this form as soon as possible as the Visit Days fill up quickly.
     
  • The Parent Questionnaire form must be completed by one parent.
     
  • Print and complete the Records Release Form and submit it to your student’s current school in December for the entire fall semester grades.
     
  • After November 1, submit the Teacher Evaluation Form through Ravenna. Click on the link and enter your student’s name and current teacher’s email.  Please notify the teacher to expect an email from Ravenna, it could go to their junk folder.

New for 2020-21 School YearEach student enrolled at Parish Episcopal School shall be immunized against vaccine preventable diseases caused by infectious agents in accordance with the most current immunization schedule adopted by the Texas Department of State Health Services, or must have an original written medical exemption from immunizations from a licensed U.S. physician (board certified allergist, immunologist, hematologist or oncologist) which is dated within one year from the date signed by the physician (unless it indicates a lifelong exemption).

All new families must submit their immunization records with their enrollment for the school nurses to review and approve.
