Upper School Parents' Night |
The Upper School welcomes students and parents to the 2008-2009 school year. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever! The school year opens with over 350 students in the Upper School. Please check We-Mail regularly for all the highlights of upcoming events--we've got another busy year ahead. We all look forward to seeing you over the next few weeks.

Schedules- Please review you son or daughter's schedule carefully and contact his or her advisor if you have questions or concerns. During the first two weeks we allow students to drop or add courses that better meet their needs. Students must have a good reason for the schedule change and there must be space available in the course they hope to add.
Mark's first coffee of the year is Wednesday, September 10 8am LGMR Special guest speakers: new Counselor, Nadine Maxwell-Henry and new Learning Specialist, JoAnn Ramsey. They will be talking about many exciting plans for student services this year.
On Wednesday, August 27 all ninth graders should come home with a packet of information about their upcoming retreat to All Saints Camp and Conference Center on Lake Texoma. This handout will be full of information on retreat activities, what to pack and what to leave at home, and the important dates and times you will need to know. Be sure to ask your student for this packet. The cost of the September 14 – 16 retreat is $150. Please make checks payable to Parish Episcopal School and include the first and last name of your child in the memo section of the check.
The senior retreat, September 28 and 29 will be held @ Sky Ranch in East Texas. The cost of the senior retreat is covered in the senior fees, so be sure you have paid these before the retreat date. A packet of information will be coming home with seniors on Wednesday, September 3.
Sophomores, juniors and seniors – check the listing of Colleges and Universities who are set to visit Parish this fall. Go to the Parish web site – click on Upper School, College Guidance and Information Sessions/College Fairs to see the list or go to your Naviance account, click Colleges and Visits to get the same information.
College Preview will be held at Greenhill this year on Saturday, September 20th from 1-3 pm. Parking directions and a list of colleges attending the fair will be distributed in a week.
