Starting the day by riding the Metro, the eighth-graders' first stop Thursday was at the White House and the last stop was all-dressed up at the Kennedy Center for a play.
The day also included a visit to the United States Holocaust Museum which has been a big topic of study this year.
There was also the magnificent art and history surrounding us with a stop at the Library of Congress.
At the Kennedy Center, we saw the fun, audience-involved mystery who-done-it "Shear Madness" with an actor adorned in a Parish t-shirt (check the photos).
Before arriving at the Kennedy Center, we ate a seafood dinner on the Wharf at Phillips Resturant.
