Seniors Ben Evans and Kyle Hughes have been named Finalists in the 2010 National Merit Scholarship Program. Evans and Hughes earned the highly valued recognition for their success in maintaining high academic performance and earning SAT scores that confirmed their earlier qualifying test performance.
Hughes will attend the University of Virginia and Evans will attend Rhodes College in Tennessee.
The selection of approximately 8,200 Merit Scholarship winners is now in progress. National Merit Finalists compete for $34 million in scholarships.
