Music lessons - private or group

ParishEXTEND offers after school group and private music lessons to help expose students to music and its benefits. Research has found that learning music facilitates learning other subjects and enhances skills that children inevitably use in other areas.

Our group lessons provide an introduction to music at an early age and help determine a student's interest in lessons before committing to the purchase of private lessons or instruments. Our private lessons allow students to truly focus on an instrument and is the fastest and most effective way for a student to progress in their musical studies. With a range of instruments offered in our private music lessons, students have the option to choose their musical path according to their interests. Private music lessons are offered in 30 minute or one hour increments. We offer private lessons in brass instruments, clarinet, drums, guitar, saxophone, stringed instruments and voice.
