Financial Assistance

Parish Episcopal School seeks to attract and maintain a diverse and talented student body and is committed to providing financial assistance to students who qualify. Need-based assistance is granted on the basis of demonstrated need and the availability of funds each year.

Parish follows the guidelines of the School and Student Services, a third-party organization that analyzes the financial situation of applicants based on a number of factors. It is difficult to predict whether a family will qualify for financial assistance, as circumstances vary widely and the overall demand for financial aid may vary year to year.

 

FINANCIAL AID PROCESS FOR NEW STUDENTS:

  1. Download and review the 2018-2019 Financial Aid Philosophy, Process and Practices

  2. Indicate your interest in financial assistance on your admission application, due by January 5, 2018.

  3. Complete the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) online at School and Student Services by February 12, 2018. SSS offers webinars and a step-by-step guide to assist parents in completing the PFS.

  4. Submit 2016 and 2017 W-2s and signed copies of your 2016 and 2017 Federal Income Tax Return and all accompanying schedules by February 12, 2018. Required forms may be submitted online at School and Student Services or by mail to: SSS by NAIS, Application Processing Center, P.O. Box 449, Randolph, MA 02368-0449. Families filing for an IRS extension must submit all 2016 forms, 2017 W-2s and a copy of IRS Form 4868 (Automatic Extension form) by February 12, 2018. 2017 tax forms must be submitted to SSS as soon as they are complete.

  5. Receive notice of financial assistance awards concurrent with Admission decisions on March 9, 2018.

  6. Accept award by returning signed financial assistance contract to Financial Aid Office no later than March 23, 2018.

  1. Download and review the 2018-2019 Financial Aid Philosophy, Process and Practices

  2. Indicate your interest in financial assistance on your reenrollment contract and pay tuition deposit, due by February 14, 2018.

  3. Complete the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) online at School and Student Services by March 19, 2018. SSS offers webinars and a step-by-step guide to assist parents in completing the PFS.

  4. Submit 2016 and 2017 W-2s and signed copies of your 2016 and 2017 Federal Income Tax Return and all accompanying schedules by March 19, 2018.
