Welcome Back! Legacy Continues January 7, 2008 Parish students return from the holiday and prepare for a full schedule of school activities.
The Legacy Program has its second event Jan. 15 as the more than 1,000 Parish students, faculty and staff celebrate the history of the school in honoring those who have helped create Parish’s heritage.
The Legacy Program uses small groups that cut across the upper and lower-school campuses to develop and encourage networking and mentoring.
The Visual and Performing Arts department is in preparation for the Middle School General Music and Dance Concert on Feb. 7.
The athletic schedule picks up quickly with three home games Tuesday, Jan. 8. The girls’ soccer team plays First Baptist at 5 p.m. The girls’ and boys’ basketball teams play host to Tyler Grace at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively. The Lady Panthers are 4-0 in defending their TAPPS District 2-5A title.
The boys’ soccer team plays at home 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, against Lutheran. The diving team has a meet Friday, and the swim team competes Saturday at Greenhill in preparation for the upcoming TAPPS regional meet.
