Parish Live success Nov 14, 2007
Parish Live will contribute toward building two more classrooms in it partnership with Happy Homes Preschool in South Africa. Parish raised approximately $1,100 from its Parish Live at the Prestonwood Barnes & Noble Bookstore. Parish Live included a variety of Parish singers, dancers, rock-and-roll band members, second graders dressed as Greek gods, a student photography display and a book reading from Bob the Builder, alias Parish assistant head of upper school Dave Davies.
Parish, Barnes & Noble and The Church of the Transfiguration have helped support the South African school since 2002. Click here for more info and photos about Happy Homes project.
