Middle School

The natural changes and challenges that mark early adolescence can be tricky to negotiate. Effective, caring and positive adult role models are essential to guiding Middle School students along a successful path as they earnestly begin to prepare for their future. Parish’s fifth through eighth grade teachers take their mentoring responsibilities seriously, and the Middle School’s schedule is conducive to student and teacher interaction. In addition to providing students, daily, with superior instruction in core subjects, teachers serve as advisors and coaches, and they work side-by-side with students on community service projects and School activities.

However, what makes our Middle School so magical is the expanse of options and opportunities offered here. From Latin and competitive sports to courses in drama, art and music, we are teaching children to become students. We are piquing their curiosity, channeling their energy and instilling a sense of responsibility for their actions, all the while working to create a sense of community.
