Head of School Search Committee The following individuals have graciously agreed to take part in this important work for the school.
Harold MacDowell will chair the Search Committee. Harold is the parent of two Middle School students. He served on the Board of Trustees from 2003 – 2006 and rejoined the Board in 2007. Harold is the CEO of TDIndustries in Dallas.
G.R. Christon, Trustee and parent of two Hillcrest campus children. G.R. joined the Board in 2006 and currently serves as the Chair of the Advancement Committee and he is also on the Executive Committee. He is the CEO of Cole & Co. in Dallas.
David Corrigan, Trustee and parent of an Upper School student. David joined the Board in 2007 and serves on the Executive Committee. He brings extensive experience in Board governance, having served on a number of non-profit boards in the Dallas community. He also led the last Head Search committee at Lamplighter School.
Philip de Bruyn, Trustee and parent of a Middle School student. Philip served on the Board of Trustees from 1999 – 2005 and rejoined the Board in 2007, currently serving as Secretary and on the Executive Committee. He is a member of the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration and is the Executive Vice-President of Capital Plan in Dallas.
The Reverend Amy G. Heller, School Chaplain, joined Parish in 2005 and is the parent of a Hillcrest campus student and a Middle School student. Mother Amy also served on the School’s Strategic Planning Committee and she is the Chair of the Plan's Religious Life Implementation Committee.
Jay Madrid, Former Trustee and Board Chair, is a grandparent of a Hillcrest campus student and is a member of the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration. Jay is an attorney and Chair of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department with Winstead, Sechrest, & Minick in Dallas.
Becky Maher, Director of Summer School Program & Special Projects for EC Division. Becky joined Parish in 1988 and taught Second Grade until last year.
Deb McDonnough, Former Trustee and parent of two Upper School students. Deb is a member of the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration and is a Past President of the Parish Parents Association.
The goal of the Board of Trustees was to form a diverse committee made up of people who respected our school’s history and understood the importance of its future. Each member brings a unique perspective to the process.
