Parish Episcopal School Child Development Center General Information
The Parish Episcopal School Child Development Center (Parish CDC) opened in August 2004 to serve as on-campus child care for faculty and staff children ages 2 months through 3 years. The Parish CDC is licensed by the state of Texas, maintains an exemplary inspection record, and employs highly dedicated and competent teachers who support children’s natural growth and development.
Children who attend the Parish CDC enjoy small group sizes with low child-adult ratios (3:1 infants, 4:1 toddlers) in order to facilitate a strong, personal relationship between teachers and families. Teachers plan and offer daily experiences across the ages to foster and promote children’s natural development in all areas: social, emotional, cognitive, language, and fine and gross motor. Children are provided ample time to pursue their own interests and curiosity while learning though play both inside and outside of the classroom. In addition, Parish CDC children enjoy enrichment opportunities through the school by attending motor lab, music class, and a library story time on a regular basis.
The Parish Episcopal School Child Development Center has a limited number of spots and is open for all regular school days and most staff development days. The center is not currently open during the summer months (June & July), and the Parish CDC is not open to the public. Faculty and staff of the school and church are given top priority for enrollment. Please contact Mary Fernandez, Parish CDC Director, at mfernandez@parishepiscopal.org or 972-852-8768 with further questions.
