Annual Fund Background Information The Annual Fund program is the cornerstone of all fundraising at Parish—the foundation upon which all of our other fundraising efforts rest. The Annual Fund at Parish generates revenue to be disbursed annually, providing vital support for core activities, program enrichment, and school development. Tuition fees alone do not cover the full cost of educating our students at Parish. The Annual Fund provides crucial support to the Operating Budget, providing that margin of excellence over and above that afforded by tuition. The Annual Fund is Parish Episcopal School’s only ongoing, annual fundraising activity that includes all constituencies. Indeed, it is the most inclusive fundraising program we have. Each year parents, former parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, alumni, Trustees and friends show their support of Parish through annual giving. The 2006/2007 Annual Fund was a record year in both dollars raised and participation. Of particular note:

The Parish faculty & staff reached 100% participation;

With an overall goal of $800,000, total gifts (cash in) reached $897,000 (as at the closing of our fiscal year end, June 30, 2007).

The Annual Fund monies raised were put to use to enhance the operating budget in areas of technology, faculty/staff professional development, fine arts, student activities, science and language curriculums. Pledge payments to this year’s Annual Fund should be completed by March 31, 2008.
The Annual Fund helps make the difference between being a good school, and being a GREAT school like Parish Episcopal!
