Throughout the year, students will participate in two data collection research programs:  Texas Stream Team and GLOBE.  They will test and collect data from the Farmers Branch portion of the Trinity River watershed, and take some atmospheric readings and observations.  Periodically, students will also participate in bird identification sessions. Please note- we ask students to wear a long sleeved shirt and long pants on days we will be outdoors by the creek bed. Students may also bring and use their own insect repellent if they wish.
