On Thursday, October 18,
Cynthia Nott (Artistic Director for The Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas)
and Joel Martinson (Organist and Choirmaster at The Episcopal Church of the
Transfiguration) will be presenting masterclasses
with the Middle School Choir.
A Masterclass
is a workshop where a really well-known and accomplished musician works with
students.
Your assignment is to write
two paragraphs. In paragraph number one,
you should mention three things that you noticed that Cynthia Nott did to
improve the sound of the choir.
In paragraph number two, you
should mention three things that Joel Martinson did to improve the sound of the
choir.
The assignment is due when
we meet for class on Monday, October 22.
