To type letters with accent marks, use the following guide. This works with all Windows operating computers.

First, turn the Number Lock on.

When entering the following codes, you must use the number pad, not the numbers listed above the letters on the regular keyboard. Hold the “alt” key down, then type the corresponding numeric code on the number pad. When you release the “alt” key, the letter with the accent will appear.

á = alt + 160

é = alt + 130

í = alt +161

ó = alt + 162

ú = alt + 163

ñ = alt + 164

¡ = alt + 0161

¿ = alt + 0191
