Hillcrest Art Night rings in
Chinese New Year
Parish will celebrate its Arts Night at the Hillcrest Campus for kindergarten through second grade on Tuesday, March 4, from 6:30-8 p.m. Join Chinese artist, San Chow, in an interactive art activity to create a “lucky red packet, ” and learn about New Year’s customs. There will be a Lion Dance Performance with live music.
There are multiple activities across campus for the Chinese New Year-themed Arts Night. Parish families can work on a pottery wheel with Upper School students and ceramics art teacher Gary Huntoon in a clay and pottery demonstration. Upper School students will also be on hand to help create an oversized Chinese Mural. Popular storyteller Elizabeth Ellis will add a Chinese folktale.
