Students direct several one acts May 8, 2007
Upper School students took the stage in April to perform a total of six one act plays. These student selected pieces cast 30 students total, plus seven tech volunteers, with 21 students performing at the ISAS Fine Arts Festival and 24 at Midway’s Fine Arts Night.

MS Theater opens national conference
The Parish Middle School Players took their act on the road. Feb. 9-11, a cast of 14 students will open the 2007 National Junior Thespian Conference at Clements High School in Sugar Land, Texas, with their full-length production of “The Diviners.”
“We’re very excited and deeply honored with this latest development in our very young program,” said Michael Irwin, Middle School theater teacher and “The Diviners” director.
In addition to their performance, Parish students were given the opportunity to interact with about 400 other middle school theater students, their teachers and professional theater experts throughout the two-day event. This year’s conference included two other middle school programs’ performances and workshops in acting, creative dramatics, playwriting and technical theater.
