Communicating Color and Replicating a Masterpiece 7th graders chose a painting from a master artist and enlarged it onto tag board by using the grid method.
Their next assignment was to carefully replicate the color and texture of theoriginal work with pieces of magazines. The pieces were to be no larger than a silver dollar. I asked that they show originality and creativity in reproducing particular areas of the pieces.
I am putting up copies of the originals, but the colors of these are not the same from the posters that they worked from. They did a steller job on replicating the colors!
