Swimming & Diving 2007-08 Archives TAPPS Swimming & Diving Champs February 4, 2008 The girls’ swimming and diving team repeated as TAPPS Division 2 5A/4A state champions with five, first-place finishes. The Panthers won three individual events and two relays to win first in the overall girls standings by 24 points at the San Antonio meet Feb. 2. The girls won the 400-yard freestyle and 200 medley relays. Seniors Hayley Hatfield, Grace Kelsoe and Callie Cutler teamed with sophomore Marylyn Toledo in the 200 Medley Relay. Sophomore Sallie Weir teamed with Cutler, Hatfield and Toledo in the 400 Free Relay. Toledo was first in the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly. Hatfield was first in the 100 free and second in the 200 free. Junior divers Kristen Stevenson and Chelsea Jones were second and third, respectively. The boys finished sixth in state team totals. Freshman diver Daniel Pappas was third while sophomore Evan Hall was third in the 200 IM and sixth in the 100 backstroke. Pappas added a fifth in the 100 fly. Hall and Pappas teamed with Andrew Mozley and junior Dakota Smith for a fourth-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay. Pappas, Hall Mozley and junior Logan Klein had a seventh-place finish in the 200 medley relay.
