Softball 2008 TAPPS 5-2A Bi-District Champions Softball 2008-2009 October 2008 Softball Nation Update After an exciting spring season in which our Lady Panthers went 19-9 in the regular season and placed third in district; won their first ever playoff game and were named Bi-District Champions; and made it all the way the their very first regional finals, what lies next for these young girls who just two short years ago were playing mostly a JV schedule? Well after summer, off-season and pre-season workouts, they are primed and ready to take the next step: trying to win a district title. The new school year is upon us, and the Lady Panthers are ready to get off to a fresh start to what should be an exciting season. Every Monday thru Thursday from 4-4:50 on the fast pitch field for the girls who are not in season will be voluntary workouts to work on hitting, fielding and throwing.
