Boys Basketball New Varsity Coach on Board August 2008 We are very pleased to announce the selection of Dorian Harris as the Head Coach of the Boys' Varsity Basketball Team. Coach Harris comes to Parish from the Covenant School in Dallas, where the team has made it to the Final Four in TAPPS the past two years. He has also coached one of the Heroes Foundation summer teams, traveling the country, winning five tournaments in 2008. Besides his coaching and motivational skills, Coach Harris has been very active in promoting his student-athletes in their college searches. Coach Harris is originally from Florida (University of South Florida, Tampa) where he graduated in 2000. Coach Harris, and his wife Tracey, moved to Dallas to work on his Masters in Christian Education at Dallas Theological Seminary. He is closing in on completing this goal. In addition to the Basketball responsibilities, he will assist in our multicultural efforts school wide and serve as a multicultural liaison to the Admissions Department and the Diversity Committee. We are looking forward to everyone getting to know Coach Harris and we're all looking forward to Panther Basketball. Further assistance coaching positions will be finalized and announced within the next couple of weeks.
